MOTORCYCLE MAMA ©: Attached is photo of my original painting, a pastel of my mother riding my sister Sally's Honda 125 motorcycle at my parents' home, about six miles north of
Tunkhannock, Pa, near Lake Carey in the village of Lemon. The source material is a black-and-white photograph I shot for an art class at Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, about 50 years ago. My mom (Leola née Brown) was likely in her early 40s when I took this picture.
